Online College Degree

There are currently six regional boards of accreditation - one for each of the six geographical areas of the United States. These are non-governmental agencies that accredit and oversee degree-granting institutions. Fully accredited online colleges and universities have earned recognition as being university-accredited from these six regional accreditation boards. Students that are attempting to earn a university degree online should always obtain proof of accreditation from one of these accrediting bodies.
